Happy Kawaki Week 2025, folks! And happy first official sneak peak page, too! It's been an absolute joy watching Philbert's journey as a fandom artist over the past year, going from scientific ninja tool toad to someone who consistently turns out some of the most interesting pieces inspired by TBV's art and Ikemoto's constantly changing plot stakes

Find him on both Bluesky and X under the handle PhilbertFrog.

Kawaki Week 2025

Hi, I’m Phil.

I’ve been following the Naruto series since 2007, and it’s been a part of my life ever since. Naturally, that love carried over into Boruto, which I’ve been reading since the beginning.

As for my journey as an artist, I’ve been drawing for about 11 months now, and one of the things I enjoy most about the Boruto manga is Ikemoto’s art style. I’ve been trying to capture some of that feel in my own work. It’s been really fun seeing how much the series and its visuals have evolved, and drawing these characters has become a way for me to stay connected to something that’s meant a lot to me over the years.
